Bear
Valley offers a wealth of outdoor recreational opportunities, so your
entertainment options won't be limited to watching Mitch try and get through
the ceremony without crying his eyes out. You can explore miles of mountain
biking trails (including some of the best singletrack in the Sierra),
ride road bikes over beautiful high passes (for example, click here),
fish, canoe or kayak in nearby Lake Alpine or Spicer Reservoir, and hike
through some of the most beautiful alpine meadows the Sierra have to offer.
There is also great bouldering nearby, so
bring your shoes and crashpad! If you're interested in climbing, but don't
have any experience (or equipment), we'll provide professional instruction
and all the gear you'll need to give it a try.
